Lin-gang business environment close to world leading level

The Lin-gang Special Area of China (Shanghai) Pilot Free Trade Zone held a commercial resources promotion conference at Shanghai Lujiazui Financial District on June 12.

During the conference, three well-known professional consulting firms –  PricewaterhouseCoopers (PwC), Deloitte Touche Tohmatsu, and Cushman & Wakefield – signed an agreement to open branches in Lin-gang Special Area.

PwC also released a report on the special area's business environment. The report shows that under the World Bank's Doing Business assessment system, the business environment of Lin-gang is close to the world's leading level, ahead of developed countries such as Australia and Japan.

The World Bank's Doing Business assessment system includes 10 indicators that measure the regional facilitation level in commercial supervision from the perspective of the whole life cycle of enterprises.

Since the establishment of Lin-gang Special Area, many innovative policies have been introduced to improve the business environment. Many entrepreneurs say starting a business in Lin-gang is convenient, fast and inexpensive.
