The festival will feature several enterprises from the district's cluster of German-speaking foreign companies in a roundtable discussion and establish the Yangpu German Innovation Center. This initiative aims to foster international collaboration and explore new trade opportunities, further solidifying Yangpu's position as a dynamic economic hub.

The roundtable discussion is scheduled for Sept 26 and will include representatives from major companies such as Siemens and Thyssenkrupp, along with officials from the German Consulate in Shanghai. This event will facilitate discussions about business operations and gather feedback on Yangpu's business environment, laying a strong foundation for attracting foreign investment.

As one of the key events in the inaugural Shanghai Summer International Consumption Season, the festival will kick off at 6 pm on Sept 26 and run until Oct 6. It promises to generate consumer excitement by offering guests the chance to enjoy authentic German beers, delicious food, and lively performances – all while creating lasting summer memories along the riverside.
